Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOUG LEE November 14, 1947 - November 30, 2007 It is with extreme sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Doug (Douglas) Lee on Friday, November 30, 2007. Doug had just celebrated his 60th birthday. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife and best friend Hazel and his sons, Jonathon and Richard. He is also survived by his sisters, Carol Kennedy (Peter) and Janice Lowe (Brad), brother Jim Lee (Donna), sister-in-law Gloria Lee, father-in-law Johnnie Zelanko, brother-in-law Lennie Zelanko, sister-in-law Cathie Bailey (Wally), and sister-in-law Sandra Atkins (Chris). Doug also leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Vic and Millie Lee, his older brother Torrey, and mother-in-law Aini Zelanko. Doug was born and raised in Winnipeg. He was always interested in outdoor activities such as baseball and football. He had an exuberant outlook on life and was liked by everyone. His job at the Shell station in Selkirk put him in touch with many people who became his friends. He will be greatly missed by all his friends and family. A celebration of Doug's life will be held on Saturday, December 8 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund for the Lee family has been set up at the TD Bank at 396 Main St., Selkirk, MB R1A 1V1.
